Sometimes things go smoothly and then theirs Calvin's Bedroom Decorating..... Last year he moved into his big boy bed around his birthday. He was supposed to get his "big boy" furniture for his bday, however, furniture is very expensive. So, I bought a used bed (unpainted from craigslist) and he used it for a year. So, a few wks ago my mom takes Calvin overnight and I decide this is a perfect opportunity to paint his bed. Well, I used a brush that left huge brush marks all over it and also used a glossy paint that in his room with the sun shining right on it looks ridiculous so on to looking for new bed again. The toy room was predecorated with Pacers memorabilia and we put in lockers in his "locker room" between the rooms so we knew football would be the theme for his bedroom but haven't made it a priority. So, in trying to get him a bed, I run across this and almost fell over. David is a Dallas Cowboy fan who's symbol is a star and the colts is a horseshoe with a horse being its mascot, so this bed couldn't be more perfect! Now, to paint.
